On August 19th, 2015 an enthusiastic team of volunteers from Towers Realty Group woke up early and headed out for a long and fulfilling day of house building with Habitat for Humanity. They began their day by working to finish up the previous day’s work in the basement of what will soon be a beautiful single family home in East Kildonan. Others on the team, along with the future home owners themselves, began working on constructing a large laminated beam which would be the center support for the main floor. By the end of the day, the beam had been moved in to place and nearly the entire main floor had been framed. Despite the relentless heat and hard work, everyone involved was very pleased with all they had accomplished.
Towers Realty Group is thankful for the opportunity to come out and help provide a home to members of our community who otherwise may not be able to own a home of their own, and is proud to be involved with an organization as important to our community as Habitat for Humanity.
